Description

The Pengu box measures about 7.0 x 2.0 cm and all the parts are woven in even count peyote stitch. It consists of a cylindrical tube, a base woven separately and then zipped to the tube, and a cute lid with a pearl on top of it and a loop of beads.

When you put the lid on the tube, it becomes a beanie for the little penguin that decorates the tube and perhaps hides a monetary gift inside!

This little guy also wears two fluffy ear warmers which are 2 little pom-poms trimmed and sewed to the left and to the right of his face.

If you are a beginner this might be the perfect project for you to learn how to weave a basic 3-dimentional shape such as a tube and how to work peyote decreases (beanie) and increases (base).
